Claire joined the Royal Society of Chemistry as an Assistant Editor in the spring of 2022. She was a graduate of Cardiff University, receiving her BSc in Chemistry. She stayed at Cardiff University to pursue a PhD in chemistry where she investigated the catalytic hydrogenation of CO2. Following the completion of her thesis, she spent two years TFP Hydrogen Products developing catalytic materials for water electrolysers and batteries. At the Royal Society of Chemistry, she works on the Advances open access journal portfolio. Her role as an Assistant Editor includes assisting the peer review of manuscripts by advising and supporting Associate Editors, supporting the production of journals, attracting the contribution of authors and reviewers, promoting published content, and providing good customer service to authors, reviewers, and external Editors.
